stumbled across this one today: http://en.akinator.com/# and I am pretty impressed I must say. He got Jed Bartlet, Sarah Silverman, Stephen Colbert, Silent Bob, Jack Bauer, Earl (of My Name is Earl), Eric Cartman, Wolverine, Daniel Negreanu and even Farin Urlaub (singer of Germany's Die Ärzte) in 20 questions or less.
 
I discovered it last week. It got obscure brazilian singers right.
 
He picked the first correctly on Bismarck, he failed the second time with Moltke the Elder.
 
Stumped him first time with Elric of Melnibone. But he was in the list of possibles you get at the end.

And it was hopless guessing David Moyes (Everton manager). I told him was real and lived in England, and was connected with sport. Later he asked if he was an AI or computer program and then whether he was a samurai :lol:

He did guess Alex Ferguson, so he was on the right track with a scottish football manager.

EDIT: He pulled a surprise late winner out of the bag with Cthulhu however ;) Does he live in the sea (I don't know), is he connected with the sea gave it away a bit but I was amazed by the guess!

Whoah, and another amazing result with Germaine Greer, just when I thought it had no clue ;)

I then gave it an easy one, Captain Olimar. I'll try Toad my avatar next and probably quit (EDIT: He guessed Humpty Dumpty! Not good enough). I gave him some more questions and he got it eventually "Toad - Humanoid Mushroom".
 
It doesn't work for me--when I start, all I get is an empty quote bubble.
 
Stumped him with Gordon Brown. Although he did guess Tony Blair (and Brown was in the list of names at the end).

Wow, he guessed Odin!
 
Yes, it took long to load in the beginning, but now it's barely using my internet connection and not loading anything.

All it has is the character and the choices "Yes, Probably Partially, I don't know, Probably not Not really, No." The quote bubble has stayed empty for almost 10 minutes.
 
i was going for Eugene V Debs and i got..Frank Zappa...lol
 
Holy crap that's amazing! It even had pictures! (Fat Mike, NOFX bassist/singer)

EDIT: He got Charles Bukowski wrong, though, but he was one of the many, many names at the end.
 
I had very few he didn't get with 40 questions, oddly enough Joss Whedon was one of them, what the hell?

Stumped him the first time with Shea Ohmsford, he guess correctly with Nikola Tesla and Emma Watson after that.
 
Does Sid Meier own a gun? WTH? He didn't get Sid after about 40 questions but my knowledge of Sid's life is rather lacking ;)
 
It guessed Ramesses II. I guess not the most difficult thing, given that it asked whether the character is Egyptian (after Greek).
 
Wow, he even got Carl Friedrich Gauß correct.

Click the "more questions" option at the bottom instead of clicking no. He'll keep asking questions.
