How disappointing only 4 orders. Hopefully the next turn will see an increase in orders.
Update 6: 1505-1506.
The year began as many peaceful years begin, the collecting of taxes, tending to livestock or winter crops. The recent problems of bandits has diminished in the border region of Rtor and Arathor as forces from both kingdoms crack down on the bandits.
A new Lord was also welcomed in Kenethica, after being gifted Moria, Lord Sendai promptly sent a wedding gift to Prince Richard along with a gift of lumber to the King.
Lord Arlog threw a coronation party for his son, even though the young boy will not be of age for another year, it provided the Lord and his family to meet the King and other important members of Arathor. The Tavadon and Stellenboch families did not attend. With little money to spend, the feast was nothing grand and the guests soon left after congratulating the young boy of his new status.
The year also ended peacefully, with the collection of fall crops and more taxes. The only birth of note is the birth of a new child in Lord Emmanuel's household. The child was a boy and was named Valentine.
Diplomacy:
From the merchants of Kenethica
To Lord Sendai
We are willing to pay, collectively, 4 Gold a year for the support of an improved road system through Moria, being a heavy trading region along with Cape Fare, we greatly desired such an improvement in roads.
From King William and Prince Richard Dashwood
To Lord Sendai
We thank you for your kind gifts.
OOC: Badunoff@ You cannot have knights until you get a Large City. As you have a village already you must either promote immigration by spending on it or wait for it to grow naturally. I banked your 10 Gold instead.
To determine if you have a village in your province, refer to the key between maps (small circle denote village, large circle denotes city.) If you have none, you must first build a village, referring to the price in the rule-set which can be found in the same paragraph you find work-camp costs.
