newsflash: Moldova is already an independent state.

Um, no. Only a small part of it is, dear.
Almost 1/3rd of today's Romania was a part of the Principality of Moldova, which united with Wallachia to form Romania, which was later joined by Transylvania. A huge chunk of Romania (all the northeast) is the region called "Moldova". It's roughly as big as Wallachia or Transylvania.
Here's a (Hungarian) map showing Romania in 1939 with all the regions highlighted:
As you can see, what's today the republic of Moldova was not even the core of Moldova, it's just a part called Bessarabia that took its current name from the name of the SSR it represented inside the USSR.
The area called Moldova on the map ("Moldva" in that map, I think) is fully inside Romania.
can you name me all the small states in western Romania which want some form independence? (i mean, any which wants to be recognized as something other then Romanian).
Only one state wants independence from Romania and that's not in the western part at all. That's in the center, and I don't know what name they would give themselves (of course I know the Romanian name for it but it wouldn't really matter in this case, would it?).
