I'm wondering, in the international society today, is war really necessary? Maybe it sounds a bit too idealistic, but please stay with me.

For instance, a friend of mine said that Nofx is right! On their new album (will be out in a month) they have a song called, "go un-american" They fill me cause they are against the war.. just like everybody else (with a clear mind) .

Some people think that Bush is dumber, and that he has some good people working under him but still.. Clinton wouldnt do stuff like that!

There is allways a better way than to start a war.. When are you guys gonna learn.. You allways try to do stuff... but we can all see that Bin laden still is around and as far as i know Saddam is still kicking it!!

The Americans act surprised when they find weapons over there.. Trust me if they invated you guys they would find a lot more(i mean alot more) dirt there!! I hate Saddam, and I hate Bin Laden.. and if i saw them i would probably kill them.. but the point is that the way Bush and his "brainwashed" slaves are handeling this situasion = all wrong!!

I pray for peace, but I also pray that Usa will keep their nose out of stuff that doesnt concern you!

Besides the war I love americans, so dont think im a hater, im on your side, just dont agree on the way you guys are solving this!!

I don't want to put you down Godfather, but alot of these people outside of Iraq who are opposing the war should talk to the Iraqi people in the US. Take a look at the pictures now, the people opposing this war are opposing something that they know nothing about.

Peace.

I don't think peace is a good alternative for war, but that war is a bad alternative for peace.

Some war facts:
- There are no wmd found yet
- America (republican) goverments don't care for civilans, espacialy foreign.
- Iraq has the 2nd biggest oil reserve in the world.
- Most people in the world oppose the war, they did and still do.
- fill in youself....

Those are your opinions, until over 3 billion people get together at anti-war protests, then u have no ground in saying most of the people in the world oppose the war, in reality anti-war people should see what Iraqi's think as they are the people being liberated

There were about 10 million protestors on feb. 15.
And many later on.
and that was just the point of the iceberg.
How many people protest FOR the war?

If the US goverment does care about foreign civilans so much, why didn't they 'liberate' Afghanistan before 9-11-01? Or Iraq?
And why don't they 'liberate' other dictatorships?

Again, those are your opinions.
We dont need to protest for the war, cause have nothing to ***** about

Presumably, 3 billion have got together in pro-war protests?

Did i ever say that most peope are pro-war? *looking looking* hmmm nope, didn't say that

draw whatever opinions you want out of it, but until 3 billion people come out and protest the war you can not begin to say that most of the world are against the war

Actually...that's not true.

You just need to look at polls from various countries. About 30-35% of American are against this war. About 60% of Canadians, 95% of Turks, 70-95% of Germans, French, Russians. About 80% of British. Spain was also about 80-90%

People don't need to march to make their opinion heard.....you just ignore it.

I'm sure you know as well as I do that they really meant "publicly display their support" for the war, rather than "protest". :p

Aside from that, I've always found the argument that public support for an action is proven by the fact that a majority are not jumping up and down waving placards to be somewhat dubious since it doesn't take account of those who are in two minds about the issue or those who are just too apathetic to give a damn.

LOL so your basing that most people are against the war on POLLS?! lol thats good

And your basing on the fact that 3 billion people haven't protested yet.

That's MUCH more sound

And the polls were polls conducted by polling agencies and news agencies....not internet polls.

so your saying all of the unbiased news agencies and polling agencies conducted unbiased polls?
And actually because 3 billion people haven't been sighted in protesting the war, well thats kind of strong evidence, don't ya think?

That's strong evidence that all the children, handicap, and others in third world nations without TV's or newspapers don't even know there is a war going on.

Fails to demonstrate that most of the world is pro-war....or even indifferent.

Many millions have marched against this war...and a few hundred thousand in support. Government popularity figures are at an all time low in countries that supports the war, and countries that don't, most of the population is still anti...as I said...60-95%.

I'm telling you that these is overwhelming evidence that people are opposed to the war....and very little supporting it.

In your opinion and opinions vary, why dont u ask the people who really matter, the Free Iraqi's, ask them what they think, maybe you should've talked to the free iraqi's living outside of Iraq before the war, those are the opinions that matter, not the opinions of people who don't even live with what they live or lived with

Well if you can't understand statistics, and people marching in the street....then you will never understand.

How about you ask the Iraqis that have been killed....displaced....and others that are held captive, and more that are being hunted down.

Of course Iraqi exiles are going to want to see Saddam dead...HE EXILED THEM!

Very few people like Exile....or being exiled....

Just like you to only count the opinion of those who support your action.

And if your saying that I'm doing the same....there are more anti-war people then there are happy Iraqi's and exiles and pro-war people.

I have no doubt in my mind that what we are doing is great for Iraqis and will benefit the region in the long run, I just hope they appreciate our sacrifices.
