I recently decided to experiment running an SE on prince with Ramesses II. I'm attempting to win a space victory w/o war. Unless absolutely necessary. I'd like to know if i'm proceeding correctly. Map is standard contenents.

Looks good to me but I'm no expert. Nice number of cities and you built the GL aswell.
Nice tech lead and the power graph looks fine so far. I'd be wary of Louis and you might get your war wether you like it or not. I'd be ready to steal two or three of his cites if he declares on you. Looks like he has some grassland which would be nice with state property workshops.
Regarding the set up of the SE, which is what I think you are asking about, I'll leave it to those who specialize in this. I just finished a Prince level no cottages space race. It was too easy, although I did kill 2 civs that were next door.(1930's finish)

I ended up winning in 1976, not as good as i'm used to, but I think I know how to mange the SE better now.
