I have made too much mistakes in this game but i managed to be the dominated force in this. the prob now is who should i attack or peacefully to a space race game.
if i win this, i will decide to move to immortal game. i hope this is my final emperor game.
still not figuring out how to use cuirs

Hi there, welcome to the forum!
I took a look at your save file and a few things jumped out right away.
Your capital's cottages are very underdeveloped for the stage of game you are in
You placed cities far apart and only settled 7 total cities. You didn't initiate a war until Suryavarman attacked you aroundd 250 BC; so the lack of rapid expansion is perplexing.
Why does Knossos not have a single building?
The lack of Heroic and National Epics is also surprising considering how late it is in the game.

I would start with canceling whatever the workers are doing in the North, pull them all to Sparta, workshop it and build a Heroic Epic there, it is on coast and we will need ships to go bully the other continent.
Build a mix of Infantry and Cannons. I would have just gone straight to Artillery instead of Physics, but you can complete Physics or trade for it and use Airships to support your infantry war across the continent.
I would give Djenne back to Mansa, that city is going to be crushed under a lot of Malinese culture and will revolt all the time unless you garrison a large force there.
I would also direct your vassals' tech - give Sury what is needed to tech artillery in exchange for Physics, task him to tech artillery for you.
Switch your tech to Medicine.
Once Mansa and Sury have Electricity and Arti respectively, trade medicine for them,
Then tech Refrigeration (+1 move speed for ships) while you set them to tech Flight and Industrialism.
Also, Factories and Coal Plants are your friends. :)

Of course, if you are impatient, you can ignore everything, just turn the military production on in all the cities, accumulate Infantry, Cannon and go visit Toku for a cup of sugar. :mischief:

Advise for future:
Try to settle helper cities that will work the capital's cottage for it and grow them. Athens has four excellent food resources and at least two should have been given away to two separate helper cities.
National Epic is a good wonder and is even more powerful for Philosophical leaders like Pericles. With good planning you can stay in golden age for eons thanks to all the Great People he can spit out.
Adopt Civics that match your empire and build improvements accordingly - Rep takes advantage of specialists so lots of farms, State Property boosts Watermills and Workshops, so get those and these two synergise very well with Caste System as it boosts workshops and also lets you run Representation Specialists.
For empires like yours with cottages all over, I would have adopted Universal Suffrage and Free Speech to boost your large number of cottages and to rush buy things wiht the money you rake in.

Agree about capitals cottages. Too much forest left on map too.

My view is build transports, draft infantry and go conquer some weak Ai.. 2-3 battleships. plus 9-10 Artilery could be strong. No way Ai can match your tech speed. The key at this stage is to stack kill without taking losses. If you can secure 40 war success assuming the Ai has no vassal they should cap.

My view would be workers should be connecting cities with railroad if you plan to conquer the world. Get troops to front line quicker. Japan first target. Cities near coast focus on ships.

Easy win here is space if you fancy a more clicking option. In which case ditch most of these non essential builds and build research/wealth.

You didn't initiate a war until Suryavarman attacked you aroundd 250 BC
I decided to made an easy war with pacal ii since i blocked his cities but sury attacked me, so i must mobilize my army
The lack of Heroic and National Epics is also surprising considering how late it is in the game.
93% of my army was slaves and didn't mean to war until elepults and cannons and i love national epic but don't know why i didn't built them maybe too tired too see you have got literature tech :P
Sury what is needed to tech artillery in exchange for Physics
I felt exhausted in 1200AD while focus on the war and manage the worker to modernize the east world.
State Property
i switched into state property one turn ago
Too much forest left on map
and athens before that was hardly get to size of 10 and i will try to chop and slavery more.
first time take pericles into real action after somehow realizing university with half cost make it affordable
thanks, going to crush japan. ( i'm suck at the ocean war :'( )

Why do you need nukes?

Build/buy or whip 8-9 transports. Load em up with units and take down the AI. Form a transport chain. You can chain units across so they reach point a and b in 1 turn. So once one transport has moved you can shift the units into a second transport. Rinse and repeat.

togukawa's army of infantry is massive plus cart will dow me but with nukes it's a sure diplomatic victory because fallout will block enemy city from growing and i'll take each of them and raze, last try was 14 art 13 infantry and 5 tanks, don't know transport chaining thanks, i'll try again

If you have the t0 save we could walk you through the beginning of the game where most of your mistakes were probably made.

I think the big mistake early on was putting the blocking city of Sparta next to Mayan capital but not declaring war.
Same for Sury. Great job blocking him off but again you didn't follow this up.
A city 3N of Athens to help with cottages.

In terms of military Hard to know what the Ai has based on a quick view of map. If they are more advanced than rifles then diplomatic or Space looks better value. With infantry and artillery and battleships that should of been enough to beat down Ai stacks. Artillery is a very strong unit! Ai is also very poor at warfare. Once you kill off their stack it becomes a process to take down cities.

i've lost that file of 4000 bc :(
because i started a new immortal game ( and won at the first time xD ). Thanks for lots of advice from gumbolt, smilingrichman, and darth sidious
