Do you want a government or anarchy?

It would just take some green/eco-anarchy people to start convincing people and begin the movement. It could even start with a Green Party government or something. I am willing to compromise. Ecovillages would be a great accomplishment, even if we didn't get to anarchy.

   ROFL.

like that would ever happen. seriously funny stuff there. anarchy is terrible for humans. people need control, not freedom.

Minimum amount of government needed, and possible. No more, but certainly no less. Neither "1984" nor your model particularly suits me.

EDIT: "I am still waiting for my first" meaning what exactly? Debrate victory?

No.... and I seriously am requesting that you change your signature, because it scares me.

the truth can scare people.

But so can lies, like yours, justone. I would appreciate some backup against the radical oppressionist, Tom.

TBH, I don't even know what to say to him. How is control better than freedom? That seems to run against human nature.

He's like the anti-me.

I don't think I have won any either, in regards to politics. It is too abstract. Military debates, I tend to win. (Ex: outcome of 2nd Korean War)

human nature as we know it is flawed. it needs to be controlled. freedom doesn't help anybody.

well, sit down with a calculator, a notepad and a pencil
and an average ecovillage population and work out
the inbreeding problem and i`ll be won over.

could the fascist n00b please leave? immediately?

Except anyone who happens to be human. Look at the Soviet Union, then compare to the United States. One (authoritarian) failed, and killed about 100 million people over its existence, while the other (free) remains, with the highest standard of living of any major country and more productivity than any other.

Again, they would move out once population gets to high. You would have people from all sorts of ecovillages founding other ecovillages. Problem solved, and no calculator needed. :D

meh, they went about it the wrong way. read the books in my sig to find the real way to perfect society.

And population becomes unsustainable when, exactly? In order to stay ahead of the genetic curve population expansion under that system would have to be greater than it is now. Also we need people moving into (back and forth) villages, not just out to new ones.

Population unsustainable? Sorry, are you referring to when an ecovillage become over-populated, or when the world does?

People can always move, they have and will.
