Ancient/Pre-Steam Unit Graphics

Thank you! That is exactly what I was looking for. :)

BTW, you prob hear this all the time, but your units are exceptional!
Thanks :) BTW I checked the Hannibal units file and mis-remembered; the boat is just a single-hull with a siege tower. If its good enough for what you need, that's fine I guess

I found what looked to me to be a "wider" hulled ship with a tower. It worked for what I needed. I'm in this incredible experience of having so many good graphics to choose from, truly. :)

Historical (-ish) Thracian and Scythian amazons.

Were the Thracians and Scythians at all related as civilizations and cultures?

@Patine Short answer, maybe?
Broadly speaking, culturally somewhat more so. Ethnically and linguistically, big question. Both spoke Indo-European languages & lived next to each other. Generaly Scythians were steppe horse archer nomads and more Iranian related. Thracians were tribal and more Balkan/ East European gingers but not nomadic. They fielded famously fierce infantry. The Thracian related Getae tribe from the Danube delta fell somewhere in between. Scythian amazon reports are supported by the archelogical record. Thracian amazons are more of a Greek mythological and artistic depiction thing. Mythological queen Pethesilea of the amazons and her sister Hippolyta were of Thracian origin, for example. There is evidence of their mutual influence on each other's art, religion, and technology.The Persians called Thrace "Skudra," meaning "Scythia," because they considered the Thracians to be a branch of the Scythian people, likely a simplification.

Assyrian Qurubuti cavalry lancers, horse archer. commander and standard bearer.
The Qurubuti were the personal bodyguard of the king, or prince. They would be very well trained and likely veterans or members of Assyrian nobility. Heavily armoured in iron and bronze and riding a felt or leather barded horse, they would be a formidable opponent. The fully armoured horse only appeared towards the end of the Neo-Assyrian empire, most likely to protect the valuable mount against the new threat of the steppe horse archers. The command would be comprised of very high status Assyrians, maybe even members of the royal family. The best quality armour was still made from bronze at this point, and was much more attractive than iron.

The fully armoured horse type that appeared towards the end of the Neo-Assyrian empire included this neck protection for the horse.
From the accession of Nabu-nasir, through the creation of the neo-Babylonian empire under Nabopolassar and Nebuchadrezzar II, to the fall of the city to the Persians in 539 BC,
and the ephemeral but fiercely-fought revolts of 522-521 BC and 482 BC neo-Babylonian armies included their own Qurubuti.
@ThichN Thanks.

They also come in bronze:
tanelorn-assyrian-kasir-sharruti-infantry-png.674149

The Kisir Sharruti were the King’s standing army. They would have been well equipped and trained soldiers, recruited from all over the empire. Recruitment reports show that Elamites, Skythians, Israelites and other nationalities (...) could make up the ranks. Once armed and equipped in Assyrian fashion they would only be distinguishable by their features, hair or skin colour.

And, seriously, does this include all of the oriignal (United) Kingdom of Israel, the Kingdom of Judah, and the Kingdom of Israel (Samara), or just the former two?
