Balance suggestion:
I'm currently playing mid to late Anno Obscurii. My impression is that limestone and mudbricks are becoming quite rare and if you aren't very lucky with resources, you can't build many of those fancy new buildings. I guess you could tear down old ones, but I don't know who'd enjoy playing like that (and also it would make for very diminishing returns). Maybe you want to reconsider needing limestone/mudbricks for everything or add additional sources that become available with later ages.
Display issue:
The resource display in the top bar becomes very convoluted as the number of "strategic" resources increases. The far right ones aren't properly visible, nor do you see all of them when you mouse over. Maybe change the display in the Economics submenu, so it doesn't just display the total resource number but also the still available (like the topbar does). With so many resources it's vital to always be aware of their available numbers.
