Its OK, I like older girls ;) Never had a relationship with a woman who wasn`t atleast 2 years older than me.. From what I have seen from dating younger girls, I just don`t understang how come us men are so immature in most women`s eyes.. :crazyeye: Maybe I just had bad luck :) Oh, well, no more of that for me, cos now I`m married to Boudi..khm, I mean, I`m still married to Mrs.S., yes, that was what I was going to say ;)
As they say in Greece: "The older the chicken, the tastier the soup."

Now just to go OT for a bit: I'm experiencing some crashes relating to specialists. I noticed it with the Illyrians last game and tested stuff out. It seems I couldn't have more than 4 pirate specialists without the game crashing on chosing that fourth specialist. I overcame by foregoing said fellows but am experiencing it afresh with the Athenians. Haven't been able to solve this problem. I've taken quite a few cities and the default specialists in them are the tax collector equivalent. I reset each one to an entertainer and everything seems fine. But at the very end of the turn (last thing before I regain control of the fresh new turn) the game crashes. I don't know why, and I'm not sure it's to do with advisors. There are a sh!t load of troops involved in a large war (I've got three stacks of 50 units and there are equal sized Norse stacks) could this be it? [Sorry if this has come up before, I can't face going through 16 pages to find the answer]

The only specific, tested observation is with the Illyrian Pirate Specialist. Four seems to be the magic number that crashes it. Haven't been able to test the other case atm. Probably will this weekend. Right now I can't say whether this separate problem is due to specialists or not.

Hi there, so sorry, but this totally slipped my mind. Above, I reported two crashing experiences. Well, don't worry about the second one. That one seems due to the fact I was using a disc crack at my home PC because, for some reason, I keep the discs at work :mischief: Anyway, the first problem with those Illyrian Pirate Specialists still stands. Haven't tested it further, I've said all I can on that so far.

Still loving the current game with the Athenians, haven't played it for a while but I did overcome that inaccessible silks problem which I came here to for advice. Those who advised me were quite right, warfare was the only way. But I made it swift, ugly and sacrificed all the Roman women and children as soon as politeness would allow :)

Started playing today as Trajan... of course! I love the depth of this mod. It's a massive achievement, Rob. Fair play to you. Really impressed.
Of course, I'm looting it bare for stuff to use in the Gallic Wars mod!

Rob, are you still Working on the Anno Imperii Expansion Pack?
I'm not so much working on an expansion pack as creating new graphics etc that could be used in an expansion pack. I really need to set some time aside to put all of it together, thus creating the expansion pack, if you see what I mean :) . There's several units I've created but not completed yet; Gladys could enter the mod - the Coritani in place of the Carolingians - but the complaint would be that it's yet another British tribe, so that holds me back from doing it ;) .
If only Firaxis would create the SDK for Civ III, then we could potentially have more tribes in the mix :mischief: !!

Im not sure what you mean, but is that the Green Giant you circled in the pic?, the Ho Ho Ho Green Giant!! [pimp] Cool idea, man what a original unit. For my mod he can guard the crops or the Frozen pea bonus resource

I hope you release your patch soon I was also following your progress but i cound't wait, Im in the midst of your mod right now (Really good stuff by the way) I like how you added the extra turns. Will I have to start over to get your new patch to work, I know you don't need to restart for civpedia icon/text stuff. Thanks for listning.

There was talk of me ousting the Carolingians, Isoko, India, Moors, Arabia and Saba from the mod. There was also talk of me making the British civs into one civ under Boudicca.

I guess I could do any of this, though the Coritani would be a decent addition to me (changing them for the Carolingians). I was thinking of substituting the Arabs for the Alans. At least the alphabetical order would be maintained!!

Actually the more popular requests have been for Kushan, Vandals and Dacia. I thought maybe the Gauls had a shout too.

I'm glad you all like it. I'd like to make a suggestion though - download Ares de Borg's terrain and use that for this mod - but keep the railways and goodhuts released with the mod.

Thanks!

Don't expect anybody to help you if you behave like a child. You're able to pick what you need from the list Rambuchan posted, or not? Take what you need OR download Anno Domini OR leave it, but don't expect people to clean your behind.
