Another Colonies 3.2 PBEM Looking for 2 players

Great, thanx for your answer :goodjob:

The Great English Empire has expanded by the capture of the Island of Tortuga. Norwich Textiles arrive in Reims.
Some casualties due to Indian attacks south of Jamestown.
Rule Britania!

Indian attacks result in increased slaves for Havana, sources inform us. Also, a mysterious message of the great natives of the forest on the warpath. Scouts are puzzled.

The French empire announces that the tribal village of Many Rapids is now under assault by French troops, and that we consider it a French city.

Avignon and Monaco are brought under French control once more, with little loss of French life. Numerous loot is taken from the refugees.

Sorry. It turns out I cannot commit myself to a PBEM. You'll have to find another player :(

YOP 73

Good to have you on board. PinkyGen and I like to move fast, and I must warn you my "BUMP" manners are atrocious. (See AOW)

Ill get this played by 1:00PM CIVFANATICS time.

Great

The big thing is knowing what your schedule is.
Ill make sure not to get to anxious on thursdays.
Just kidding around about the bumping, I thought Sun Tzu was going to have a heart attack last night

Its looks like France is at war with the Hurons. London to Paris Textiles. Exeter to La Corunna Horses. (Hope you like those English horses YOP) The Great English Empire expanded by the capture of Many Rapids. PG I saw your units just south of town and the Indian unit in town was damaged. Sorry if you were trying to get that I attacked in the blind and you were blacked out to the South. Do you want to set up a line where you are North of the ST Lawrence and Im south except for existing possessions? It will be a while before I get to the Michigan and Wisconsin areas but we could come up with a line for that as well.
Let me know and again I snatched Many Rapids in the blind. I didn't even see you till I moved into town. Yaroslavs utility doesn't do any map trading. Not sure how we can work out this English/ French spheres of influence in North America. Ideas?

Oh Crap

My screw up, Ill get out of there next turn and turn it over to the French. Sorry PG I just glanced at that post a while back and completely forgot about it. Im out of there by next turn.
Just declare war and take it, we can adjust the attitude later and make peace.
Guess ill have to review the posts again.

Thats why I like to move fast, less chance of my memory fading.:o :o :o

Better yet I replayed the turn. Everything the same except I moved away from Many Rapids. There is also a damaged Huron Warrior next to Many Rapids to the NW.

Now I dont know if this is ethical or not. I made a mistake. I dont really care, because its a game. So its up to PinkyGen what he wants to do. Use the earlier version and Im in Many Rapids, or use this version where I moved away.

Its up to you PG :o :o

I consider it quite ethical, as I was about to ***** and moan over the English attacking what I had declared part of the French Empire. However, I do believe it is important that we find a way to subdivide our respective zones of influence.

As for being at war with the Hurons, how the hell did that happen? They were my allies, and they were fighting the Iroqois. I must look into this.

Great

I was hoping you would go this way. I figured it was OK as long as you had the final decision. Indians played by the AI aint to reliable. I just try to hold off the Iroquis (when Im English just long enough to get troops in the new world. Then they are toast.:goodjob:

As far as dividing up North America the easiest thing is for you to stay North of the St Lawrence river and lakes Ontario and Eire. And myself to the south. It is a very natural Line that we can follow.
The Hurons are all up there, the Iroquios are all below. So you can hammer the Huron and I can hammer the Iroquois.

I have two settlements just North of Many Rapids on Hudson Bay.
Rupert house and Hudson Bay I think. I wont expand out of those two settlements.

We can come up with an extended line once we get west of Lake Eire. You are already there in a few places. I wont get close for years. (Too many Iroquois in my way)

What do you think?
