Any recommendations for balanced new civs and maps with TSL

Hi everyone

Thanks a lot for the awesome Vox Populi mod. It has restarted my interest in this game after having shoeboxed it for 1 or 2 years. The mod is really some of the most well-done fan work I have ever tried. The changes you've made are super awesome, and I can no longer win any game by just exploiting the idiot AI.

Now however I would like:

1) More new civilizations - Can anyone recommend a pack of the new civilizations that are BOTH compatible with and balanced in Vox Populi? I especially like ancient civilizations.

2) Some TSL maps - I cant get the YNEAMP to work (tried the 43 civ version 2 downloaded through steam)

And re 2), I think the 43 civ maps need to change DLL, so they won't be compatible with another DLL mod such as VP. You can play the regular YNAEMP map though. I have never played it myself, but there is a thread somewhere here about setting it up with VP. The thread should be linked from the stickied list of compatible mods above.
 
JFD's, as well as masssai, and enginseers.
Take a grain of salt when playing JFD's mods. Unless they are activated before the SQL Trigger(There's a compatibility trigger that triggers for unique buildings that replaces their respective VP buildings), they may or may not have one of those unhappiness modifiers or appropriate happiness yields.

When I try to load to the mods through steam it asks that I implement 2 other mods.

1) The orignial civ mod
2) A comunity patch mod

Should I download and activate both of these?
