[BNW] Any way to get 43 civs and civIV diplo features working together? [Solved]

I've been playing with civIV diplomatic features for quite some time, and I've been really been looking foward to using it in combination with YnAEMP 43 civs mod, but I was disappointed to discover apparently these two mods are incompatible. Does anyone know a workaround to this, or perhaps a substitute mod I could use?

To get 43 major civs requires a DLL mod. Civ IV Diplo is also a DLL mod. And, as you can't have two DLL mods active at the same time, then, as LeeS says, there is no workaround.

Now, it depends what YnAEMP does with the DLL. IF (and that's a pretty big if) it only changes the number of major/minor civs, you may be able to get the two to work by downloading the 43 civ version of my DLL and using that with the mod to support Civ IV Diplo (there's a thread on these forums somewhere on what you'll need) and remove the DLL that comes with YnAEMP.

But, as I've never played with YnAEMP nor Civ IV Diplo (only merged the codebase into my DLL), if this doesn't work, I'm not going to be able to offer any support - so if it works "Yea! All good " if it doesn't "Aw shucks but it was worth a try."

The Community Patch comes with a 43 Civ version of itself and includes a supported download for Civ IV Diplomacy, and since YnAEMP doesn't inherently require a DLL, you could use that instead in combination with YnAEMP. That is, of course, if you're okay with using the CP in the first place. Check out their subforum for more details, or otherwise the install page (Manual Installs > download (1) Community Patch, (1a) Community Patch - C4DF Addon, (4) Civ IV Diplomacy Features, and (6c) 43 Civs CP).

Does there happen to be a version with just the CP (ai and bug tweaks) or do I need to grab the entire Vox Populi?

You don't need Vox Populi. The (1) Community Patch that I noted is just the CP.
