AP Testing

I took a class my school calls AP American Studies which prepares you for both the US History and English Language tests, and i took AP Calc AB

I'm on pace for 8:

Sophomore: World History
Junior: Calculus BC, US History, Biology
Senior: Physics, Literature, US Government, Chemistry

I don't know what level the Physics is (people posting are saying Physics A, B, or C), but there is a Physics class as a pre-requisite and Calculus BC is a co-req. or a pre-req.

I could take another 1-3 AP's, but I'm planning on taking another band class, jazz (i'm in wind symphonic band), starting Junior year (after I get done with my Spanish 3 credit).

There is no Physics A. And since it needs Calc as a pre-req, it's most likely C. And it's 2 exams. "Newtonian Mechanics" and "Electricity and Magnetism".

I plan on taking 12 total:
Sophomore: World History
Junior: Calculus AB, US History, European History, English Language
Senior: English Literature, Calculus BC, Statistics, American Government, Comparative Government, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics

My school sucks so the last four will have to be independent study next year. Anyone have any tips on that?

I just have Sike tomorrow and then I'm done AP tests. I will have taken 7 of them.

Physics B today (my school does not offer instruction for the C ones) was easier than expected. I only did not know how to do 2 problems total. I may have made errors from stupid mistakes but that cannot take away the 5 that is fairly certain.

I definitely got a 5 on the AP CompSci AB (the harder one), it was ridiculously easy. The English may be a question, since my essays were not great, but ok, so they should be in the range of 5-7 out of 9. Multiple choice I feel good about, but not enough to think I definitely got a 5.

I have already taken Calc BC, US Hist, and CompSci A, which were all 5's.

Our school only offers, Chem, Bio, Euro Hist, Music Theory, and French, Spanish, German and Latin besides the ones I just mentioned.

It's two parts of one exam. Cuz you only pay for one and the grand total of the two takes as long as any other AP test

I took European History AP and I think I did horribly :D

Then how come you get to pick and choose if you'd like to only take one part, and not the other? Wouldn't that make it 2 separate exams?

thanks for clearing it up. I think at my school it calls the pre-req Physics as "Physics A/Physics 1" or "Intro to Physics" and calls the AP Physics either Physics 2 or AP Physics.

I could easily be wrong though (the counselors at the school call the classes weird. For example, band is "performance ensemble 1")

I did European History and Calculus AB. They weren't too bad for me, but were challenging.

Now to discuss specific multiple choice questions... (j/k)

I don't remember any more specific MC questions to discuss. :p

I took a single AP test way back when. I ended up taking the class I should have been able to skip because my university never gave me proper credit. It all ended up ok since that experience proved that the classes that you could skip because of an AP test are the classes where all the most gullible coeds are.

You can only parts of it, but when you get the packet and everything you always get the crap for both.

The credits I got from AP courses were canceled out by the semester I wasted as a business major, so the semester I saved got lost anyways. Of course, I still graduated in 7 semesters, because I was what feels like the only Liberal Arts graduate in the history of my university not to take a minor or double major.

FREEZE! This is the Office of Testing Integrity, we'd like to have a few words with you. :borg: :sniper: :assimilate:

took SIX this year. and got 5 5s and a 4

much much much better than I was expecting

Eh, that's not as bad as the guy who took 12 by the beginning of Senior Year and got all 5s.

I got all 5s this year.

US History
Calc AB
Biology
Physics B

I took four this year, three last year, and one the year before (total of eight). I got 7 5s (US History, Euro History, US Government & Politics, English Language & Comp, English Lit & Comp, Macroeconomics, and Microeconomics) and one 4 (Statistics).

All in all, I'm going into Michigan State as a sophomore, and go up to junior in second semester (ha!).

I think I've taken 9 so far, and another 4 will come.

AP World, AP Chem, AP Phys B, AP Eng, AP Calc BC, AP Bio, AP US, AP Comp Sci A --- 5s

AP Stats - 4

Took just two, and got fives.

Did anyone here take the Latin: Vergil test? If so, what did you think about the second multiple choice question? My entire class (which was only about ten people) burst out laughing about a minute into the test simultaneously.
