AP Testing

Yeah. Back where I used to live in rural Tennessee, they only had two APs. Then I moved to a fairly big city (800-100k in the region) and got into a really cool school. Completely public, but it takes only the top kids and give us much more advanced stuff. My brother, who had to go to the school in Tennessee, really hates the fact that we moved here just after he left. :)

I took the US Government, and Politics one, but I don't think I did very well... I think I did good on the multi choice part, but the essay questions screwed me up pretty bad especially cause my handwritings not very good.

I took AP European History on Friday. Not bad.

The DBQ on Child Rearing was, I thought, kind of unexpected but it was a lighter topic than what we had been preparing for.

I have to say, after a Sports gimme last year, I was expecting the worst, so child-rearing was okay, not good, but okay.

Was my AP Euro class the only one expecting something like Russian Peasants or something obscure like that?

Just wondering.

In sophomore year I took US History (5).

In junior year I took European History (5), Physics: Newtonian Mechanics (5), Physics: Electricity and Magnetism (5), Macroeconomics (5), and Calculus AB (4).

So far this year I've taken Statistics, English: Literature and Composition, and Calculus BC. All of them have been fairly easy, so its looking good for a couple more fives. I have Chemistry and Environmental scheduled for this Tuesday (my birthday), but since they are at the same time I have to take an alternate exam for Environmental the following week.

I love AP tests, its going to save me so much money and time in college, letting me skip all the boring courses that are required in the beginning of the year.

My school didnt offer very many. I passed English, US Govt and US history with 4s, and skipped my first semester of college.

Damn, that's an achievement. =)

I think next year's APs as a senior might be a lilbit more of a challenge to pass due to senioritis. :crazyeye:

I only was able to take 2, but I went into school with ~42 credits because of dual enrollment.

I just took European and US history AP, 5's on both though, I could have slept through those tests they were that easy. Got done in about an hour and a half flat for each of them. Could have been done alot faster if they didn't force me to wait for everyone else and then to call time 30 or minutes after the last person finished.

I took 11 :smug:

That's weak Perfy. I know a guy who's going to be taking 12. :p

Euro
Java
US
Psych
English III
Chem
Spanish
English IV
Gov
Micro
Macro
Calc AB

And on the news, there was this kid who took 13 APs and got all 5s. And then he's taking 2 more...

I know someone who scored a perfect on the ACT, and another who did the same on his SATs.

Old or new SAT? Because so do I (Both ACT and SAT). But it was the old SAT, before it got all hard to score perfect with the extra writing tests.

I've taken English Lit. Language is Wednesday.

The multi choice was easy enough, I hardly got a page on the first two essays.

I don't feel good about it, if I fail that test I'll reimburse my mom for wasting her money. I hate myself.

Junior year: Chemistry, English Language, American History
Senior Year: Calculus AB, Physics C, Biology, US Government, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Psychology, English Literature

Ta-dah! 11!

Yeah, well I also took Multivariable Calc through the University of Minnesota in high school so I still have it on him. :D

I just finished with the AP biology test 3 hours ago and doing some last minute studying for tommorrows chemistry.
The Biology wasn't that bad but I have a bad feeling about chemistry....

So am I/he. (That's calc III, right?)

I'm on pace for 8:

Sophomore: World History
Junior: Calculus BC, US History, Biology
Senior: Physics, Literature, US Government, Chemistry

I don't know what level the Physics is (people posting are saying Physics A, B, or C), but there is a Physics class as a pre-requisite and Calculus BC is a co-req. or a pre-req.

I could take another 1-3 AP's, but I'm planning on taking another band class, jazz (i'm in wind symphonic band), starting Junior year (after I get done with my Spanish 3 credit).
