Architecture Problems

So a while back there was some issue with the Native American architecture in cities was showing up European instead, and it was fixed in a patch.

I'm having a similar problem with other architectures, like middle east and polynesian and it would be really helpful if anyone knew how exactly the Native American problem was fixed, as I've been sorting through the code and found nothing that could be causing this.
