Nothing, unless your name is Alice (or Neo)....... Thanks for paying attention, though. If you want a more pseudo-scientific answer, one could say that white rabbits have a natural predilection to building their homes along temporal rifts that are otherwise undetectable to 19th century (and, for that matter, modern) scientists. This was discovered by Alice Liddell, who, as a young adult, discovered the truth among the papers of the by-then-deceased Charles Dodgson (an Oxford Mathematics professor): as a child she had actually disappeared for several hours and was discovered by Dodgson half out of a rabbit hole rift, hallucinating and babbling. Dodgson used a deck of playing cards he was carrying to shoe-horn her out of the rift and then, afraid of the controversy that such an event would engender (for he had other secrets with Alice that others could not know), he strung her babblings together into a story to convince the child that she had dreamt the entire thing, going so far as to write it all down for her later. Dodgson tried some experiments to test his theory, but after the child again disappeared into a mirror, frightening him nearly to death, he abandoned the effort. Years later, a chance meeting between Alice and Ada Lovelace led to the discovery that Alice had a unique ability to access these portals, perhaps because of her earlier experiences. The older Alice learned to control her ability to "teleport" and joined the League. Still, Alice ever afterward carried a rabbit's foot on a chain around her neck...for good luck.
The white rabbit then, indicates the existence of a rift, enabling the building of a teleporter.
Sufficient explanation?
