Are Mac scenarios compatible w/PC scenarios?

I experience some problems when I want to set up a multiplayer scenario with another player who owns a PC. Why...?
Can anybody help me?

P.S.:If it is indeed a problem is there any Mac CIVer that would like to play with me (MGE) ?

I am a Mac owner who has played some MP games with PC owners. But no scenario games. If we could overcome the 7 hour difference between east cost US and Greece, I'd like to play sometime.
