Gack, and I thought my brother lived an antisocial life ....

Im not that antisocial but im preety close to it. I only really go places on the weekend and to a community college on the weekdays. And even then i dont have any friends since my old friends went off to college and its hard for me to make friends outside of day school.

In college its very unstructured. You dont have designated lunch breaks like in highschool and you can pick up your stuff and leave when you want. Its very hard for me to talk to people or meet girls. I was lucky enough to get a couple girlfriends when i was in highschool and that was only because the girls i went out with didnt have any standards and would go out with almost anyone that asked.

Well one of the girls was so sympathetic that when i asked her our she said yes of course because we were both good friends at the time. But she had such a soft heart when another light friend more stranger type asked her our she changed her mind and wouldnt date either of us. She couldnt hurt anyones feelings.

I'm not a "hikikomori" but there are rare times were I simply don't feel like interacting with other people. This usually happens if I've spent an entire week working on some group project. I get over it after a day or two.

Lazy bums, their parents need to drag them out of their rooms and force them to go to school. Speaking of which, where is the school in all of this, should the parents be being sued and losing custody for not sending their kids to school.

edit: Ofcourse I don't really have any freinds either, I don't go to clubs for fun, and I won't ever be getting married. But that shut in stuff is ridiculous.

I don't really do much beyond going to school but I blame that on my financial situation and the fact I'm not legally able to purchase alcohol not because I'm completely anti-social.

For some reason i thought you were as old as mob-boss!

It must be your avatar that gave me that impression. By the way who is that in your avatar?

I'm anti-social, but not as bad as those guys. Why don't their parents just physically force them out of their rooms? Where are the parents in all of this?

JAPAN!The land of the rising...SUICIDE RATES!

It makes good people to send to Mars.

And NASA, ESA or the Russians are spending millions trying to see whether people can stand psicologically a one year voyage to Mars. Those guys would be happy to be sent over there.

Yeah, but good luck trying to get them to work once they get there.

But then, you never had to go through the Japanese school system.

Just create an elaborate facade. Make the inside of the capsule like their rooms. Make video games that are actually doing work (somehow), even if the person doesn't realize it. The Japanese toilets are space-age anyway...

Quite frankly, they could go to Mars and back and not realize anything happened.

It's this guy:

But yeah I'm about the same age as Perfection.

OT, after remembering I spent almost my entire winter break at home doing nothing I might have had a light form of hikikomori during that time period.

No. I may occasionally really dislike people to the point that I crave isolation for a day or so, but i'm not that much of a hermit. I got buddies, and I chill with em.
