Ares de Borg's Terrain Pack II: Preview Thread

I agree with aaglo, irrigation is a secondary concern. I imagine that someone will make some irrigation fitted to Ares' terrain (Pounder? :mischief:) quite soon after its release.

Also, - good luck Ares. :)

ok, this is the first time Ive seen this Terrain pack...nice work...

1 concern...in the jungles, there is a tile that looks like a green army man, is hiding it the trees...

HAHA!
Well, that's a sublimal image if I ever saw one :)

It clearly is prone there... either aiming with a rifle or looking around with binoculars (I can't decide which).

I'm sure it's just an optical illusion. Out of interest, I zoomed in on the file to see if it only looked like an army man because of the lack of detail. However, once doing so, you quickly realise it's nothing more than an accumulation of bushes and shrubbery. The jungles will play games on your mine sonny! :crazyeye:

At the risk of giving the ABA apoplexy, I hope development is still going on in some top secret skunkworks somewhere. I would love to have the oppoertunity to use a finished set as my standard terrain, & include it in scenarios I'm working on.

:coffee:

I never abandoned it, but there's no ETA either... RL :(

Some minor changes have been made, but the big thing is the coastline. I need a day off to do that.

Changes to notice below: Modified Pounder's beautiful irrigation to fit the terrain, new LM Hills for the desert, different plains forest.

OMG
I don't think any of us actually thought that this could get any better, but with the newest screens you've put up Ares... wow, just wow. It's just so beautiful, and so many well balanced, colorful details.

I agree! That looks like a paradise! Small villages strewn about the neatly kept irrigation. The river serenely flows through the land, with a view of the magnificent mountain range in the distance. :)

The coastlines look terrific even as of now. I must say it is a great compiliation of terrain art, including all the work you have done to it.

I'm guessing the big job is the finishing of the waves/coastal surf of the coastline?
