Ashes of Erebus (RifE's Follow-up) Download and Bug Reports

In the current game (save attached), Elohim SVN367, all AoE Launcher default modules except MoreEvents (AnimalLairs, Black Duke, Coaxoch, Dural, Goblin, ImportantLeaders, MagisterAshes, MoreEvents, NodeYields, OnePotion, PPQ_Effects, PPQ_Flavor, PPQ_NAVY), there have been some events which did not appear to have any effect:

"An elf stumbles out of the mist, seemingly blind and offers his services" but nothing appeared. This happened after searching the Whispering Wood.
"TXT_KEY_GOODY_UNBLEMISHED_SHELTER" also appeared to have no discernable effect.

The following Python exception occurred over the turn end so I have no idea what actually caused it:

Hi, after a long haitus I have picked this up again, updated to the latest SVN, and played some SP and MP, MP has been very stable so far, so kudos for that

Bug Report
Some units are missing any abilities or UI buttons (they copy the previous unit UI but the buttons dont work, unless they are the first unit selected in a turn, in which case they remain blank), you can delete the units using the hotkey
Some units with this bug were found during a MP game, but I havent played the Amurites in SP to confirm it, since some units with this bug were encountered in SP

Wolves: cant make pens or use wolf blood, cant click buttons to control in any way (SP & MP)
Amurite UU mage replacer: partner is playing Amurites, was a bit of a bummer to upgrade apprentices to a unit that cant use any spells
Amurite UU tower mage (fort commander replacer): same as above

so far it is only these three units, but I will keep an eye out for more.

Attached is our MP save file, player 1 is Mechanos (no issues with anything so far), player 2 is Amurites (Wizard and Tower Mage are present and bugged)

yeah, it's a bunch of bugs that have been caused by the art folder cleanup. They'll be fixed next version ( which should be in a couple of weeks hopefully)
 
In the current game (save attached), Archos SVN367, all AoE Launcher default modules except MoreEvents (AnimalLairs, Black Duke, Coaxoch, Dural, Goblin, ImportantLeaders, MagisterAshes, MoreEvents, NodeYields, OnePotion, PPQ_Effects, PPQ_Flavor, PPQ_NAVY), I have had this Python error:

This happened after the goat ate a pair of Swift Boots that it found when exploring a goblin fort (or similar) and increased its Attack/Defence strength.

Playing on WorldofErebus, I noticed a new unique location: The Castle of the Wandering Blizzard, however, the blizzard radius around seems to get pretty large, and they never seem to go away, so as it moves around the map it creates enormous areas of permanent blizzards that at least almost 300 turns in to the game, havent gone away. I dont know if this is a bug or intended behaviour, but either way I think it needs to be at least toned down in radius, or not move, or the blizzards need to go away when it leaves an area.

it's a bug, and it should be mostly fixed in next version.

I checked before and after saves and there were the same number of units in each. I have had units which have previously died...

usually, restarting the download just after it cuts should help. I'll update the first post with an alternate link.
Downloaded successfully from alternate link. When I extract the files I get a notifiaction from Norton AV that the file CvGameCoreDLL.dll is unsafe and has been removed. The program seems to start OK however...
 
errr, if the dll is removed you're not gonna get far...
Weird, Norton definitely claimed to have removed it due to WS.Reputation.i but it is in the Assets folder... As I understand it Norton automatically quarantines/removes any file/version that it has not seen before whether it tests positive for malware/virus or not.
I have been playing Luchuirp/Gimil for 120+ turns and have managed 8 points towards level 2 so it is very slow to get started, hopefully will speed up when the special bulidings become available at Divination, Sorcery, etc.

Has the spell "Gust of Wind" been removed from AIr magic ? I received a messge about a "shadowy veil" and thought to try the spell to disperse it but it no longer seems to appear as an ability although is still in the Civilopedia.

Gargoyles (and other golems?) receive experience that they cannot use but not have access to the fake level up ability.
