The Butterflies

(bum bum buuuuuuuuuuuum)

"WHAT!?!?!?!" cried the head Admiral and Emperor together.
"I...I thought we...uh...still didn't like them?" replied the Captain.
"We've been friends with them and helped them defeat the Romans you blithering idiot! We have been trading and have been allies for a long time! WHAT WERE YOU SMOKING WHEN YOU THOUGHT TO GIVE A REBELLION AGAINST OUR ALLIES PART OF OUR NAVY?!!?"
"Uh...Pork?"
"NO EXCUSE! NOW YOU PAY THE PENALTY! GUARDS!!!!!!!"
Two very burly guards grabbed the captain by the shoulders and took him towards a sealled, glass door.
"Please! No! Not the butterflies! NOOO!"
The guards heaved the traitor into the room and pulled a massive lever, opening a hatch in the room. Soon, hundreds of butterflies poured in, latching themselves onto the screaming man. Then they flew back through the hatch, and all that was left was a perfect skeleton, still standing upright.

Foreign/Domestic/Military
- Time to invade Alderia. They have a weak military and lots of money just sitting there. The Carthaginian Navy, all but one CWGF, will destroy the puny Alderian Navy, and land 4 Armies at the Pyrnees of Iberia. Those troops will storm through to the opposite coast, then push south, down the peninsula. The navy will also take the Baleric Islands (the only western Med. islands that aren't mine). Meanwhile, another 4 Armies will invade the African side of Alderia. They will start in the south, along the border with Bernica, take the border, and charge northwards. The lack of a large, well trained Alderian Army will mean more territory taken with less casualties. The troops will loot to try and access the unspent income of the Alderian government. Also, destroy The Faith!
- Continue trade with Germania, Bernica, and Egypt.
- Send one CWGF to repair the damage made to Germania by assisting them with defeating Engend.

why do we need to conquere the whole island?" yell an ARMY General.
Soon the debate was hot in the room, and both side never want to give up!.
Finally, when almost out of control, the head of NAVY and the head of ARMY decided to bring
the case into the Emperor.
The emperor listend carefully to the argument between those beloved ARMY and NAVY.
After a while the emperor spoke. "From what I see, there is no point we are fighting in
Japanese Island against the barbarian, while we are lack of science and culture in compare to other countries.
Moreover, our NAVY is not strong enough yet. Therefore, I decided to improve our science
and increase our NAVY, and in the meantime we explore north to the unknown land."

The Formation of Tarvalus: Part One.

Arundin stepped out of his snow covered hut and looked around, it was night time in the Northern reaches of the world and it had been for quite some time. He called these months the Trials of Spirits as he believed that god was testing the will of their spirits to survive in the dark times and prepare them for their future battles.

Arundin had just woke up and was preparing for a hunt with some of his tribes fellow men, he wore the fur of a polar bear that was pure white as a jacket, some rough dark leather from skins of a sea lion as pants and a shirt, his gloves were woven from that of soft wolf furs and he wielded a tough, sturdy spear that had claimed the lives of many creatures in the past. Before every big hunt like this one the tribe in its entirety would gather the night before and pray to their god that the spirits would walk with them while they tracked their prey and that they would guide their weapons to find the hearts of their targets.

Before he knew it the time had come and Arundin had gathered the six best hunters that the little tribe had offered and they were getting themselves ready for the week ahead of them, Arundin had already known what he was after but was also aware of what conflicts might present themselves on this journey. His best friend Malurem was one of his fellow hunters this time and he knew how skilled Malurem was with a bow, so he explained what would happen to his fellow tribesmen and set off for a grueling seven days of tracking, hunting and slaying their prey.

Day one was filled with tracking and praying to their god for guidance but nothing more. They had been walking for a good four hours in the darkness when they heard a noise just over this snow covered ridge, it sounded like a howl of a wolf then screams. Arundin and his friends rushed over the ridge to see a pack of great white wolves terrorizing a small village which Arundin and his tribe had known for the past many years. Quick to think Arundin ordered his men in a calm tone to surround the pack and strike with speed that god blessed them with. There was no argument from any of the six men as they hurried to their positions and waited for the order, swiftly and silently Arundin launched his dark brown spear at the shoulder of the alpha wolf. It struck the wolf dead on and it dropped to the ground with a whelp of pain and his men rushed in to clean up the rest of the wolves who had decided to flee from the village as their leader had been struck down. One wolf however charged Arundin who was seemingly defenseless, all of a sudden Arundin produced a straight edged knife and sliced the wolfs throat as it pounced at him. Blood covered the silver blade and he said a quick prayer for the creature, cleaned the blade in the snow, then charged in to help his fellows in the fight.

When the fight finished just moments after it had begun there were only about three wolves that were killed, not counting the alpha wolf, so the village expressed their gratitude towards Arundin and his men and asked them to stay the night there. Because this was a spiritual journey and trial they refused the offer but accepted the thanks then set off to set up camp at the next ridge.
