Expand! More land, and take me those islands to my North! Land a force in Papua and try to take a foot hold there so I can expand faster!

You are fighting a losing battle, we are willing to negotiate a peace with you.

from: Germanica
What is the meaning of this?

Rome and Carthage are in an MPP. We would have attacked earlier, but Rome didn't need help. Now that they are not doing so well, we are stepping in. Now that you don't have a navy, say goodbye to all your islands...unless of course you surrender to the Empire of Carthage and to Rome.

Sorry, for the lack of orders, busy alot longer last night than expected.

If you factor in upkeep, DarthNader, you only had 5 bucks to spend. Either I could have gone through with your economic spending, and neglected your war galleys, or I could have gone through with your war galleys and deglected your economy. Considering you are at war, I hoped that I was doing you a service rather than voiding your orders because you tried to spend more than 5 bucks, which you don't have. I did mess up on your wonder. Tell me in your orders about how it should be completed this turn, and IT WILL BE SO! :D

Perhaps I should allow people to spend over their economy for a turn, at a rate of 1 less than your economy level, should you decide to do this... Thus, if you have an economy of 5, you could spend 9 jack, but your economy would go down to 4. Perhaps someone would like to weigh in on this option?

EDIT- Thanks for that, Arian. I know it must have consumed some time to do!

Chapter 2 – Expansion and the Spirits

As the century past the peoples of Charrúa and their allies have become unified under the bander of the Great Charrúa Kingdom, which were descendants of the allies chieftains becoming the ruling class, with the Grand King (which was descendant from that great Charrúa chieftain) ruling over them.

As the Kingdom expanded their was a need to keep the spirits happy. As many things such as making new cities and roads are taking resources from the land and the spirits so people need to know what the spirits want in return for them to allow this. This are what the Shamans are for, as they are the only ones who can talk to spirits, others maybe shown visions but they can't ask the spirits what it mean if the vision is unclear, while Shamans can.

One day an Elder Shamans was meditating in the suburbs of the great city when one of the spirits contacted wuth him. The spirit said “We are pleased with your Kingdom for the moment but we ask for something a little different this time to please us” as the Elder ask what they wanted, the spirit answer “In your great city we require a great garden with a small Shrine in the of center it so the people of your great city will have a place to make their offerings to us.” Spirit paused for a second and then added “Do this for us and we may bless your people with insight from the spirit world to aid your Kingdom!”

Then the Shaman woke up, the spirits a rarely this clear in what they want so this clearly needs to be done to keep them happy and so he went off to see to the Grand King. “Yes” said the Grand King after hearing the vision from the Elder Shaman “We need to build this for the spirits and it will be also a great Wonder to the World.”.

Imperial Legionnaire- Covered nearly head to toe (Except for a small opening in the face) with new Iron Armor, carrying a shield with their Legion Symbol on it, and a mighty Iron Sword, these men are the elites of the elites. Taken from their homes at five and trained until twenty, to serve in the army till fifty, these are the best trained men and soon the most veteran. While usually fighting with sword and shield, all Legionnaires can fight with a bow or on horseback (2 Jack Per)

You seem to forget that Rome was the aggressor in this war, we are merely defending our self.

I will volunteer for the plague since Masada doesn't want it. Seems to make sense that it would spread quickly in a mostly nomadic nation rather than in one where people are more settled.

Orders in a few hours

I have a volunteer, Stormbringer, but I appreciate your willingness to contribute to the story. Noone will know who the volunteer is, untill it's time for the update! :D

Honestly, I don't care. All that matters to us is that you are currently attacking our trading partner of, and a good friend as well. If you no not surrender to us now, you will see a lot more of us in the future...trust me.

Yes, but you are currently attacking a trading partner of Carthage, and a good friend of Carthage as well. If you no not surrender to us now, you will see a lot more of us in the future...trust me.
Maybe if your warmongering ally responded to our offers of peace we wouldn't be in this situation.

Maybe if your warmongering ally responded to our offers of peace we wouldn't be in this situation.

Well, I will have them listen, but we, the Carthaginians will be making all the proposals.

From: Carthage
To: Rome

Indeed, these Germanics of which you told of us are weak. However, I think it is in the best interest of both of us to end the fighting and get what we want through diplomatic means. Carthage has made it clear to the cowards that we, the Carthaginians, will be making the only proposals, and Rome will be pleased with the proposals we make.

From: Carthage
To: Rome and Germania

Here is the first proposal from Carthage. This will be the only one for the next few years (this turn). After a couple years (next turn), a new proposal will be made.

Carthage Agreement
1.) Germania will surrender all land south of the rivers closest to the Roman lines and the big island (Britain) to Rome. The smaller island (Ireland) will be given to Carthage.
2.) Germania will pay Rome 3 Jack and Carthage 3 Jack in reparations.
3.) Germania will pay tribute to Rome and Carthage every 10 years (each turn) in the form of 1 Jack each.
4.) Germania's navy will not exist, and army will not exceed 4. If you do not recognize this, you will die.

If Germania does not accept this, war will continue.

Continue working on the wonder as before.

Spend 1 eco on upkeep like we have to

Spend 1 eco on the continuation of integration of the newly acquired lands. When/if the plague hits this is going to backfire on me really badly, but its not like I can know about it ahead of time.

Spend 1 eco on increasing the military again.

Continue expanding, over to Lake BAIKAL, like I've ordered three times now, over to the west, where the border with China is. We should try to expand around the southern coast of that lake, and over to the western shores of the Kaspian sea. None of this land is very densely populated, so its not like we get a lot from it, but to make up a substantial economy in this part of the world we will have to have a huge land area.

Have fun with the plague!

Jol'Yujar the Great

Jol'Yujar is the grand son of King Conkwi's Chief Harem. After the last king died the throne is in minor dispute when they all voted for Jol'Yujar, who is brave, diplomatic and adventruious, as King. Jol'Yujar was fighting in the north. A new expanding kingdom is pushing outwards, sending waves and waves of horseraiders across the steppes for every village they 'convinced' to join them and every tribe they incorporated to their lands.

He, instead of burrowing, took a stand int he future of Capi'Latsu: He expanded his army greater than 5. Not only that, he attacked outward. Assimilating the hermitts and barbarian tribes of the borders, his armies punched through a mountain chain and swept across the steppe, creating a large buffer zone to be traded for the vassalship of the strongest of the tribes and to the south, scampering over a large plateu to a plane in which it's natives has been crushed by attacks by the Civilizations in india. However, he did not just sweep the land for living space of the Capilian People but for the advancement of the Yakhornbow. Superstrong bowmen, now with a wood stock connected to hold the string and for aiming.

His pet project success in a minor vassalized tribe struck behind the supplylines of his armies to reck destruction. In the battle of YungShi in north Capi'Latsu a single wave of ''Quarrles" brought down nearly a hundred riders what shot in the distance. After a final charge with his last few raiders. Their whole tribe was exterminated. Dead: 2700 Raiders, 100 Wounded on ourside. 2500 captured women and childred sent to a neighboring tribe.

The arts florished under his rule. As he sent viberant dyes from the Steppes and Spices from the Indian Plains the newest silks are brightly colored in reds and yellows and imbued with fresh exotic sents of the "West."
