Assassin target order (broken?)

Whatever is done, it's really annoying when assassins (and tasksmasters, too) target slaves, workers, settlers, etc. Well, in certain situations I guess it is kind of nice, but in general I find it an annoying distraction from killing enemy units like mages that might actually hurt me the next turn...

Assassins should not kill units with no combat modifiers, like settlers, etc. unless there is nothing else in the tile.

ah that reminds me of my settler with +1 holy damage...
i wonder if he would live when his "protection" was dead?
