Atari..... do u miss it and other old game systems?

Is it just me, or is it kinda sad seing old buddys like arati, and nentindo fade away?? i realy miss ther flat looking games.....

allso, if any one has a working atari and dont realy whant it, plz pm me, maby we can work something out??

I still got me NES, I play it occasionally.

I really want to get my 486 working again, it has some really neat old games, like SC2k, the DOS versian (The DOS versian is better then the windows versian.

I miss playing nintendo 8bit - those were the days - super mario, world cup, street gangs...
Also my 386, where I had Monkey Island 1 & 2, and Fate of Atlantis, Transport Tycoon even....

Some do work on WinXp though

I don't see Atari fading away, every new game I buy seems to have had something to do with Atari.

I wish I still had my 386 that way I could play all my old games. But I still have my Atari and most of the fun games for that

I used to think like this - until I actually did setup an old system, actually even went out and bought some old games (extremely hard to find)... and at the end of the day, I couldn't believe how horrific the graphics were. Took about 10 mintues to realize I'd wasted money, and I've never looked back.

Those old games are not as good as we remember them.

I like the Genesis and, yes, Sega CD games I have. They're still quite fun once in a long while.

i didnt care for atari or nes too much but i like C64.I still got my C64 with a ton of games and still play a few ever once & awhile but not much . i kept playing my C-64 regularly up to 1995.

I still have my C64 and megadrive. Plus I emulate a few NES games. Things were so much better when the graphics were nothing special and developers had to concentrate on good gameplay.

I still play Atari 2600 emulated games sometimes. My fav is Ice Hockey, which I play nearly 20 years now... OMG

I have an old Atari, an Intellivision, Colecovision, nintendo 8 bit and a Sega..I do hope to get to play them again some day.

there are various PC Software Emulators for Console games, sometimes free- or shareware.

i bought a PS2 game that has 50 atari games, mixed with 80's music.
i got a mega drive emulator, and loads of old PC games! I dont care what the bloody graphics look like, gameplay is all that matters. Police Quest 1 ****s all over these new games

Nintendo I have. I also have Sega Genesis. Super Nintendo had some cool stuff. I also miss Turbo Grafix 16. My favorite right now is Playstation 1 and 2. But nothing beats P.C. games.
