Atlantis threads

Hi guys, new here.

I found the Ask YEC thread here while doing a search on Greek Civilization, ClassicalHero seems to be everywhere. Okay, I'm new here but not new to Civilization games.

So, I was wondering if you guys discussed Atlantis, or had an "Ask an Atlanteologist" thread yet? I did do a search on it but I have no time to look through 30+ pages of found results. I have to get back to work.

If you guys don't have an Ask an Atlanteologist thread, I'll put one up. Thanks a lot.

Oh, and Stormin'Mormon is just one Mormon among dozens. We all are different individuals with common beliefs.

I don't ever recall seeing an Ask an Atlanteologist thread here, but I've only been here a few years. I think you should start one, it sounds like it could be pretty interesting. You're free to start it however you wish, but it might be a good idea to tag it RD. See this thread for details.

Yes, and no. Depends if the lesson is on the Book of Moses from chapters 3 to about 8, but those aren't usually discussed in FHE. If anything in Genesis or Moses is talked about in FHE, it's Genesis chapters 1, 2, 6, and 7; and Moses 2, 3, and 8.

What's the Mormons interest in Atlantis?

Hardly any amongst general Mormons. They read in the Book of Moses chapters 3 through 7, and typically gloss over the important information there in.

Only a few are really interested in what happened. The position I usually advocate is that there was a high tech, low spiritual civilization before ours that destroyed themselves before the Noachian Flood.

Our civilization is equaled or eclipsed by what has become before since they could do things that we can't today.
