instead of the president making attachments, he could email the saved game to next president, making it difficult to play the game in advance, and instead post more screenshots and if someone asks for a more "specific" screenshot he could take it. ie spycathcer wants to see the city screen of townsville and pres ducky takes it and posts it. so wathca think?

I prefer screenshots because we can draw on them...and display possible scenarios.

But uploading the entire game will be much less stressful on the department heads. They can quickly get an overview of the entire game in just a minute.

I'm hoping that people will be responsible enough NOT to play ahead. And if anyone is suspected of cheating, they they are out of here. No second chance.

I don't want to give the game to everybody.
Suppose ,somebody uses the cheat mode and start's "spoiler talks" here.I want to prevent that.

Anything like that is gounds for banning, and fierce Shunning.

To be more secure...the president could e-mail the game to the department heads only. That would lower the chance of cheating. Or is that what you originally suggested KNAS. ;)

I for one would like the saved games. I think bannishment and fierce shunning will be good enough. In the begining screen shots may do, but later on, people are going to want to see each of their cities. As far as trade goes, they will want to see the trade screen, and will then want to look at the map to compare distances. I think this will get way too unwieldy to show everyone in screen shots. Additionally, I don't think the risk is too high if someone does cheat. Cheating would be limitied to a very few people, and their influence would be minimal. The best they could do is be on the 'right' side of a decision, or gain 'I told you so rights'.

Oh well, just my thoughts.

In the unlikely event a cabinet minister was impeached or otherwise unavailable, the deputy would be more or less unbriefed on how the situation has been progressing. Perhaps the deputies should get the file too?

Just create a sub forum that is like the staff forum- no one can see it unless they've been given permission. That way, no one who hadn't signed up could download the game.

And of course, I mean that the games would be posted in that forum ;)

if ur not in the democracy game i c no reason as to why not let them download it, its the members that should have limited acces. those that are not members here cannot post here and should be allowed to play around with it

Well I am the great oracle Apollo, so shouldn't I be able to see the future? ;)

I think that the game should be attached so that all members can look at it, but non-members can't. We don't want someone from the outside playing ahead and PMing us all with what's out there, because then reading a "harmless" PM could ruin the game for you.
