While most will wait until the actual mechanics of the game and produce dubious guides with numbers and stuff and then continue to the point where they make up
words like SE and actually have people comment on the fiction...

the purely visual is always a more accurate guide- especially if you can't read

the below image is "big isle"

Note the mountains and city placement and no hexacons
this is because island locations are the superior

While awaiting the release of Civ5 it is prudent to look at what is being selected as the "trailers"
this gives insight to what the programmers and artists are fond of- ergo give the most attention and devotion towards

The next shot is of a worker writing something

i think it says "communism is always a good choice but not so much this time around"

in essence - the worker's back is to the viewer

Running communism (if they even have communism) will be hard work

troy seeks attention by deliberately trying to confuse and irritate those who haven't yet realised that his posts are intentionally nonsensical.

I recall some people on the civ4 forums thinking he was funny for a while (though I never understood why), but in the end everyone just got bored with him.

"We have no idea what you're trying to say here"

We?

every civ player is at your house and everyone is confused?
i missed the party

" but in the end everyone just got bored with him. "

which explains why he is posting in this thread i suppose

This may not be accurate. It could be some sort of mental illness. And I'm not saying that to be funny.

I had an old roomate and good friend who is schizophrenic, and when not on his medication, would also act strangely.:(

Ahh, thanks. I won't bother then.

thank god

forum strangers calling people names are sane i suppose and sane people that know the truth and are uptight i try to avoid

The next screenshot is "the Oracle" - i suspect that the circular format and long distance view is indicative of that it will be harder and take longer to build

There is always an emphasis in civ games to greek wonders- keep in mind that the greeks were a seafaring people- and the islands shots, and verbage towards more seapower is evident

i said it once- i say it again- Ship attacks- they always work - especially in multiplayer-
this time round it appears it will be trickier

In civ3 mulitplayer i would often tech to sailing and start a galley right at the beginning
no one else would have a galley and would start a quick build after the fact- messing up their build plans for one- but more importantly forcing over compensation
