Since Strategic Resources are going to be limited in Civ V, I hope we get to hear something like, "You require more Vespene Gas Iron!" in the game when you've reached your limit for how many swords you can build and try to make another!

If we do get that I hope it ends up being funny, and then someone will make a Stupid Statement Dance Mix of it that I can love!

Random voice/audio notifications are a terrible idea imo. Also on diplomacy/leaders - if there's not going to be at least an option to permanently turn off some AI saying "Let's trade maps teehee" every couple minutes it would be really annoying.

Audio reminders are needed in real-time games. A mouseover on the icons in the build queues is fine for a turn-based game. (Maceman: requires iron, current iron use = 8/10).

It would get really annoying to have audible reminders every time you can't do something in the game. Just leave it as a mouse over the way Civ 4 does it thanks.

*facepalm* Toke jopic?

Jesus, you stuck a tvtropes link into a civfanatics topic? (I was about to do it too, actually).

Well, I wouldn't say a joke topic, as I actually would like to see it in the game, but this topic is kind of silly in its execution.

And as to the links, I'm a Troper, can't help myself! :crazyeye:
