I also tried the same thing with the greeks. started with harrumbai, settled my capital as the suez canal then another city to stop the greeks from settling their capital in europe. Then I sailed all the way down to austrailia with the galley cotaining the 2 settlers. RIght now there are only 27 turns left in the game, and while I am pretty close to stealing all the techs I need, there seems to be no way for me to steal fusion and build the engine in time. I own the entirety of austrailia except for that one dutch city and have a city in south america.

I am currently colonising Australia and south-east Africa as Arabia. I am also converting all of Eurasia to Islam. Fun times.
