What i'm seeing in my mind, as i imagine it, the scorpion is facing right. it's body and claws making up the right half of the crescent (give or take a dozen degrees {out of the 360 degree thingamajig} ), and it's tail making up the left half, but isnt curled up at the very end. That's what I see.

I mussed around a bit with your avatar a bit today:

The first one is your current Avatar (for reference purposes)

I think I like the third one the best. If you notice the second one I took out the blowing hair. If you like it better that way I can do the same for the third one.

The graphic is from the Dawn series of comics. This character is the angel who married Lucifer or or "Lucy" is actually female.
