Thats not cute, it's terribly depressing.

I thought it was sad and uplifting and wonderful all at the same time. The Kiwi, if it was able to figure out everything to get those trees like that, surely was smart enough to know how it was going to end. It went through all that, and knew its death was at hand, to experience the one thing in life that it wanted to do, fly. That tear of joy at the end was priceless.

According to wikipedia, they're primates but not considered to be monkeys.
