Battlefield Asia: The Mod(Idea Stage...comments please with cherrys on top..)

um... we cant use this
come on, we need asia to be atleast, at the very least twice that size.
japan is only big enough for like 2 cities, its a good map of asia for 4 civs, but i think you want more. I dont like tiny maps, big maps means more fun, with civs, lands to explore, and barbians, and more room to spread your arms before fighting civs next to you
 
I agree, but you don't want the map to be too big, otherwise come Industrial Age....

I've actually played with about 12 civs on this map. Japan has it tough, but can expand into Eastern Russia fairly easyly. A bigger map would be good, but not that much bigger...
 
For my own Eastern Asia Mod (started a long time ago but I am lazy), I used this map as base. Cannot show you the precise one as it has terrains and resources linked to other folders.

It is a crop of an el Mencey map with modifications. I think it is possible to crop less in the West so as to include India.

I'm pretty sure there are maps of subtsantially larger size than this in the Conquests; take WWII in the Pacific for instance.
 
I HATE Industrial Age lag. 99% of the time when this occurs I quit the game, its just not enjoyable. I am getting a new Upgraded CPU, I hope that this helps, but I doubt it will get rid of the lag entirely(And it is very bad on my computer, to the point of freezing it fact)
 
Well, How should we approach this? I have a Biq I was working on. All I need to do is create a folder for the mod, and get rid of all the Non-Asian stuff.

My New computer can handle HUGE maps...so the previously stated problem is no longer an issue.

PS: DPII's new units he just released will make excellilent additions
