The last episode was... well, brutal. It's ending, I mean. How am I supposed to wait a year for the next one?!

2008? WTH, this is all BS. why the year wait? and with a cliffhanger like that. It's all BS...

Spoiler :
And Starbuck is a traitor I think.

There will be a 2-hour movie about Pegasus in the meantime, to ease our suffering.

I hope there will be a long scene showing the destruction of 12 colonies in more detail...

:bump:

Just finished watching season two on DVD. It's really good, I bet Paramount are kicking themselves that they didn't listen to Ronald D Moore over Star Trek. Just makes you wonder what Voyager and Enterprise could have really been like.

No more aliens of the week with stupid hissy voices! No more stupid names for everyday objects :woohoo:

Does anyone know when season 3 is coming out in the UK? In about 6 months maybe?

You actually liked the last episode? (The end of season 3). I'm curious - What did you like about it? I thought it was outrageously crappy - and I seriously love this show. After it was over I thought "Oh man - the fans aren't going to like this one" so it's interesting that your take on it was so different then mine. By the end of that episode I just didn't really even care if it comes back next season - I guess it was a case of high expectations: I was expecting some kind of killer cliff hanger like they've always done in the past.

How is this now a cliff hanger? Who/what is that cylon fleet?

the old bsg was great the new one sucks, absolutly no humor, it is way to serious for a scifi series

I liked the Baltar's trial, perhaps bacause I was just reading about the Nuremberg and Tokyo tribunals. Romo Lampkin character was great and Lee, although I don't like him very much, hit the nail on the head in his speech.

I guess people are losing interest in this show because it has gone so far from its original spirit (you know, running from Cylons, constant fighting, creepy mysterious Cylons, Number Six in hyper-sexy red dress in every episode etc.). I for one don't take it as a negative. There is an end to this story and we're slowly getting there. The 4th season is known to be the last.

At the end of the Crossroads, they opened the last chapter of BSG and I think it will be great.

you really think so, when it's doing so well? Won't it run to seven seasons like star trek....

Well, it is not doing so well in ratings. Frankly, if it wasn't the flagship of the Sci-Fi channel, they'd probably cancel it.

Also, RDM said he had a plan (:scan: :mischief: ) with the show and he won't make it longer only to make more money.

I think it is very likely the 4th season will be the last.

BG is a great show but Sci-Fi has too many breaks and lots of fluffy filler shorts that break the ebb and flow of the shows. You have to be a very dedicated fan to put up with all that crap. Tivo helps some there but not everyone has a DVR. I think people are getting bored with TV in general. There is really very little that has changed over the past ten years. Only few shows are worth putting up with all the filler crap.

Yeh, there's definately a huge plus watching the whole serieses ;) on DVD. I'm going to resist the temptation of watching s3 over the net and wait for the DVD in 6 months.

I saw some of an episode once and was really turned off by the constant music. Is that how the show is or was it just that episode?

Battlestar Galactica is the only TV show I actually watch.

Of course I don't actually watch it on TV. Who want to have to sit down at a specific time, and watch 15 minutes of commercials with your 45 minutes of show?

Easier to download and watch whenever I want minus comercials.

I love Sci-Fi but didn't like BG. It's just too dark and wacky. I like Stargate a lot better since it never seem to take itself too serious.

Was the music all along the watchtower? rent the miniseries and see if you like it.

wacky? and stargate was all preachy silly.

if the new BSG had an episode like SG-1's 200 then maybe i would watch it.
and question for bsg fans. were the human form cylons introduced in the new bsg or the original series?
