I don't see the replay ... and I can't tell which year we won. Your report seems to suggest 1952 or 1953.
Well done, guys. Fun game. As this was set out to teach some monkies how to win a space race ... I think it fulfilled its objective (the win date was a little too late for a prince game, there are handful of plays along the way that could be done differently to accelerate the win ... but who cares!!???).
Speaking of Banana Ship ... remember the Mothership in the original Homeworld?
There is just no other smile to celebrate this win
I owe you all some big Thanks. First to berseks01 for putting a newbie as myself on the roster (along with encouraging words). And to all the team for patiently dealing with my mistakes. I learned a lot from your play, I was pretty impressed with the way we won. But must of all, I had a lot of fun!
It was an honor to play with you all and I am looking forward to other opportunities (unfortunately there is no sign of BTS arriving here anytime soon, and international stores are not allowed to ship it to me here, so I guess I will be having trouble engaging in new SGs).
I suppose they don't ship to Eastern Europe either even though we are member of EU and NATO
But I don't care since I don't need them, I could buy BtS from local dealers
I thought exactly the same. I buy frequently at amazon (mainly books) and I was already checking out with the BTS order when I found out they couldn`t ship it. Anyway, I am just beginning to play Warlords, I don`t mind waiting a few months for BTS, I just hope there will still be some Warlords SGs around.
Well, if it were any comfort, they couldn't ship to Singapore either ... (I guess by default, multimedia materials must go through censorship, so they can't ship it).
I have no news of TechDealer (btw, their site works only on IE), who imports Civ related games to Brazil, about Bts. They are busy with some vista related issues.
Look, I bought my BtS copy from Steam. Some others talked about FilePlanet or something like that. I'm just too lazy to remember. They say the latter is better because you actually get a "burnable" DVD without the copy check. Steam launches itself before the game to validate your account. But you don't always have to be online to play. I think it's a good workaround. Take a look!
Thanks, neighbor! Nice of you to drop by and give me a hand with this matter. I will take a look. (Sorry all for the off-topic, and thanks everyone for the suggestions and comments).
