best combo's and civ ironies

I think many people forget they had to build a strategy game first, then a civilization simulation after it. Sometimes it is fun to try emulate civilizations, such as founding Hinduism as the Indians.

Another thing you forgot [but was mentioned later] was that the Hindus in this game can eat cattle and the Jews and Muslims can eat pork.

2: Buddhism is completely imcompatable with holy war. Most religions have exceptions, but Siddhartha tought no killing at all, including self defence.

not in civ... but in hollywood i've seen a buddhist monastary with a sign on the yard that read: "no tresspassing, armed response." it was just a standard sign issued from their hired security firm, but the ironing was delicious.
