Best In-Game Music?

I loved the Age of Wonders 1 music. Look for the track "In the Company of Elves" on youtube.

starfox for the n64 was pretty awesome.

Final Fantasy 7 I enjoyed as most powerful game musii
best of all for meee

red dead redemption has a nice tune

Most of our team members are Nobuo Uematsu fans including his work in Final Fantasy -series, but certainly there are more composers and bands we enjoy listening in a game, for example:

- Michael Giacchino (Call of Duty)
- Nine Inch Nails (Quake)
- Sonic Mayhem (Quake II)

...not forgetting about Civilization IV's music. ;)

Õkami has some good tunes.

Emperor of Eternal Darkness is a menacing theme which some may have to get used to. Menacing music is a high-tier in my personal preference however, so it'd be wierd for me not to pick it out.

The Sun Rises is a fresh final boss-track which depicts hope and victory rather than tensity and evil. It also has a nice feel to it and doesn't stand too much out from your average fighting-music.

I would name others, but these are the two best examples. I think it'd be a good idea to check the soundtrack out, especially since it's very easy to find on youtube.

The best ingame music I've ever had was in Beat Hazard :p.

this post wins.

Oooh those would sound good in a Civ East Asian mod.
