I must agree with the people mentioning Red Alert 2, Diablo 2 and Mechwarior 4. All VERY good intros. But my favorite will forever be DAY OF THE TENTACLE!!!!!

I have to say that videos in this game are really like from war/thriller movie. Very good piece of work there I've heard commetns such as "What movie that is?"

Nothing quite beats the original Command & Conquor. The opening cut-scene of flipping through channels of various news, soap operas (the couple slapping each other and then making out), and news reports made the game take on a life of its own.

Another surprisingly outstanding intro was Lords of the Realm III which had detailed animated armies besieging a castle. If only the game was half as good as the intro...

I must agree. It won like best intro in Europe for some place I think. I didn't think practically anyone knew about this game though.
