No one has ever heard of this game and I know that when I tell you I highly recomend it none of you will care or look for it on the new or buy it or give it a second though, that is how it died in the first place as one of the gaming industries gems that never sold well. Anyways, enough of my ranting.

BTW Sub Culture is abandon-ware from Ubisoft (publisher) and Criterion Studios (developer).

The intro was way cool, and the in-game music was so awesomely amazingly full of greatness. It set the atmosphere enormously.

One thing thats funny is that the intro movie's graphics weren't as good as the game itself which is reverse of most games.

BTW, are we counting cut-scenes? It seems some people are. If we are then I'm surprised no one mentioned Halo(2) or Metal Gear Solid 2.

Freelancer (awesome combat scene!)

Freespace 2 (even more UBER combat)

Descent: Freespace (freakiest intro)

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Dominion Wars (noticing a trend here?)

And last but not least

Majesty (An old but awesome RTS city builder... level 100 mage? Fire all the other city defenders )

And if you'll count ingame cutscenes, Civilization CTP gets an honorable mention for its wonder movies!

War of the Ring has a pretty cool one. When the game starts you either hear: "The burden is mine. I shall take the ring." (frodo) or "Myyyyy Preccccasssss." (Gollum) Depending on who you get, you get a different intro (if Frode = good guys, gollum = bad)

Also BF1942 has good music in their's

Oooo subculture! The best submarine game ever! Full of original ideas .
The sound never worked for me on my old oc ,though. Might have to install it again .
Anyway i better get on topic

Fallout has a classic into and i also love the one from Grim Fandango

Yeah it's a cool intro but I really enjoyed Battlefield 1942's intro. Music was really cool as was the video.

With surround sound etc, BF1942's intro is great. I remember being amazed by it when seeing it on my brother's computer
