Ok, I'm not include the F-22, JSF, or anything like that as they don't work yet.

Therefor the best fighter is, drumroll please, the F-15.

I'm amazed nobody talked about the F-15, but it was quite revolutionary. It was so good the Russians practically reversed engineered it for the Su-27.

No matter what the choice of weapons.

Reason?
Example.
U.S.A.F. Thunderbird pilots rotate each year.
U.S.N. Blue Angel pilots make a career of it.
Both will blast any Mig from the sky, as an example.
Someone sited an Iranian piloted aircraft? Give me a break.

USAF is obviously superior to some middle east jet jockey,
This is always the case if you are reffering to east bloc
trained pilots,

Saying the USAF is the best in the world is both in error
and smells of over-inflated pride.
You watch too many movies.
It's the pilot that make the machine perform, true!

But the Israeli ari force and RAF doesn't get
it's reputation from nowhere!
RAF? They train USAF pilots!
Israel? they have fought for years, solid!
