Well, crowns are not a common sign in all the cultures, for example that funny thing Hatse is wearing is pretty much an Egyptian equivalent of a crown.

We used to call the white hat that Pharoah wore for being boss of up river but south of lower Egypt a beehive hat. Of course we had to be careful not to get caught saying this or it was 30 days in the embalming factory - shudder.

vote Bismarck! I mean come one, what leader has a hat that you can impale your enemies with by running headfirst into them? It's practical, and is the only leader who can defend himself single handedly using only his hat :lol:

that is one fine piece of hatness :p

The Iron Chancellor, of course.

Arguably the most important and future defining thread of all time........ever.

1. Montezuma= When my gfx mess up its like a floating multicouloured chicken.
2.Bismark= Its very shiny.
3.HC= Pope anyone???

If nothing else, reflecting upon the lessons of this poll has made me realize who must be the leader of an Australian civ if one is ever made.

Yup.

Paul Hogan.

Haha! That was very funny...

Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin would kangaroo kick Paul Hogan into the northern hemisphere (where Chuck Norris would finish him off), but sadly, Steve is not known to wear hats.

Pretty slow reading. Keep at it -- you'll get faster with a few years of practice. Syagrius, it's pleasant to see you chime in as usual. Predictability is one of your most admirable qualities, sir.

The obvious choice in the poll is Hatshepsut. Why, her first name is Hat!
Haha you swayed my vote
