(haven't seen korea/wonders yet)

voted for 1066, thought it was a well arranged scenario, playing as english on a hard level is a really good challenge

quite liked the New World, started but gave up the mongols and poly ones

you call it Samurai Invasion of Korea?

I would call it Korea a playable civilization in civ5 game
Korea is best yiooo

The Korea scenario is quite tough as Korea! Has anyone won it on a difficulty higher than Prince yet? If so, strategy tips please! There is space in the strategy forum for a thread devoted to it too, but some basic tips here wouldn't hurt. :)

Tactically, out of all the scenarios so far, the Mongolia scenario is the most unforgiving. You need nearly every single unit you ever make to devote to the war effort on the higher difficulties, and the time limit is annoying.

I think the Wonders scenario has a gentler pace than the others, and I'm fond of its unique civ representations.

I'll will vote Khan's conquests because it is really the only one I played. I did not like it as much as I did the warlords one. I played a few turns at first but then threw on a few mods to make it seem more realistic.

The one I had the most fun with was definitely the wonders of the Ancient World. Playing it on the realistic map setting was a blast for me.

I just finished wonders of the ancient world on the realistic map and it was awesome! The map was really cool, I barely managed to win too, which probably made it better ;D

I like the Wonders of the Ancient world as well. My only beef with it is it's not at all balanced.

I've played it twice, and I need to disable ruins (if that's possible in this scenario) because the vast expanses of desert dramatically favor Egypt and Sumer over the more land-locked Hittites and Greeks.

Get a Chariot or two going and you clean up. Not only that, you get raged by barbarians because there's so much wasteland for them to thrive in, so you get your military points almost by default. Just in the African desert I got like 4 population boosts, two Knight upgrades, two techs and something like 80 culture. It was silly.

Haven't tried Korea yet.

My biggest complaint with the new scenarios is that they just recycle other leaderheads. What, did they recive negative feedback from the unique leaderheads they made for the Viking scenario?

Also for the Korea scenario they didn't even bother with renaming the leaders for historical accuracy. The Manchu leader is correct (Nurhaci), but they leave the Chinese, Korean, and Japanese leader names as the default. Seriously, in the scenario introduction it mentions Hideyoshi but the leader is still Nobunaga. Not game-breaking, but seems very lazy to me.

This. How hard can it be to find out the correct names of leaders and so on?

So far I have only played the Mongol scenario because that one was provided for free. It's a nice and challenging scenario that took me a while to fathom and complete. First on Prince and today as well on King. I'm looking forward to trying other scenarios when the DLC is on sale next.

Previously my favourite scenario was a tie between 1492: Conquest of the New World and Paradise Found, but now it's WOTAW. It's done really well, and professionally too.

Many people said that it was a waste to pay for 3 wonders, but you get an awesome scenario as well!
