Avidemux I find works good for cropping parts of a video if that's what you mean:

Yeah, thanks Aimee, I just tried that though & my video is all green (though the sound works). It's a WMV file for whatever that's worth.

Funny, when I tried WMV they came out ok. You might have to change the video codec.
