Best werewolf movie

An American Werewolf in London, The Howling and Dog Soldiers are some of the better ones I've seen. Although, I agree with VRWCAgent about The Howling not aging well. I'll have to get my paws on The Company of Wolves; I saw it as a kid, but I don't remember much about it. It will be interesting to see how The Wolfman shapes up when it comes out early next year.

Hands down, the worst "werewolf" movie I've ever seen is Howling III, an Australian film featuring weredingos. In fact, it's one of the worst movies I've seen, full stop.

Brotherhood of the Wolf is worth watching in a well made b movie way too. Cyborg mega wolf in revolutionary france bodice ripper where the hero has a native american sidekick who can, for no sufficiently explained reason, do kung fu. It's like they just started adding b movie elements - horses, 18 c. costumes, women in ripped bodices, werewolves, swordfights, cults, cyborgs and then just decided like a slightly drunken chief "ahh, sod it lets chuck the lot in, since it stopped making sense a while back lets just add aliens, and kung fu fighting indians". Genius.

And as a bonus, Monica Bellucci nakked

Cursed. It sucked but Christina Recci is in it.

God, I remember that. It was horrible. Though I laughed at the were-Tasmanian Tiger.

An American Werewolf in London was quirky cool..

Ditto.

That Michael J. Fox comedy was sort of ok.

And wasn't there some kind of French made (Zomg I'm endorsing something french) movie---I think late 90s about some werewolf hunter in 'age of reason' france. I remember he had an american-indian sidekick who gets killed early in it. Wasn't too bad of a movie. edit: Brotherhood of the Wolf (Ginger mentioned it)
