So, on Civ 5 they were red and stood out. Also, you got a notification if you had that one thing. Nothing like that in 6? I have to spend time scanning for them in the brown areas of the map and I still miss them. Any mod or am I missing something to see them more easily?

They show up a bit more clearly on Strategic View, as do tribal villages (goody huts)

Also you get an audio notification every time a barb camp spawns so it's not like you need to look all the time, only when you hear the tone

But there should be an icon on the right sight coming up along with the tone and if you click on it, the view gets centered on the newly spawned/discovered barb camp. I guess this has been discussed multiple times at some point in the suggestions forums.
