Beyond the Sword for Mac coming soon?

There is no announcement of the release in their front page news or calendar sections, or on games news sites; there's no release date; and the release page looks incomplete. However, the main graphic from the page sometimes appears in the centre panel on the front page, and there is an ESRB rating posted for the product (search for "Beyond the Sword").

This looks like good news for Civ4 fans with Macs, who have waited two years for a Beyond the Sword port.

We'll continue to monitor the situation, and I'll post updates here when we know more.

Yes, I run Parallels v4 on a 1st generation quad core Mac Pro, and I have Windows XP SP3 installed as a virtual machine.

I just re-checked the Aspyr page and they have removed what little information they had.

I suspect they may be planning a Civ IV: Complete edition for the mac. Although I have nothing on which to base that opinion.

I recommend that you track our BtS For Mac Release thread. You will see that Brad Oliver, a key designer with Aspyr has given an update on the BtS situation.
