Well its been brought up before that perhaps special promotions should be given to units of a particular type. Such as polearms get a polearms promotion. The problem is if a polearm upgrade into a gunpowder unit. What should happen?

Theoretically we can remove promotions, we just don't. Or that bit of code does not work. I haven't tried.
