This is how Civ 5 should have came at us!
We at Fraxis and 2K games have learned from our mistakes in the past. We have read complaint after complaint of how the next Civilization game should act and feel like. That is why our next game won't feel like a tyrannical dictatorship but more like a democracy with a user friendly interface. Our primary focus was the game's fundamental platform which uses the least amount of hardware resources yet can deliver large amounts of content and focuses primarily on game play, customizable aspects and replay value. Now Civ 5 uses even fewer resources than Civ 4 ever required! No need to rush out and get the latest PC rig to run this epic TURN BASED STRATEGY game, let the First Person Head Shooter fanatics worry about that! Now Civ 5 can run under a DX11, DX10 or DX9 environment for those with older hardware as well!
You don't think a certain Civilization or Leader looks as it should or AI behaves? Modify it with our fully integrated Civ5Hammer multi-purpose editing tool. Want it to do something no other Civ does? Insert a custom script with the Civ5Hammer editing tool! Map spawning not the way you like it? Civ5Hammer editing tool can help the in game spawner spawn just the right maps! Want to add to your modded game custom graphics, models, animations, sounds, graphical effects or special events? Yes the Civ5Hammer can shape Civilization 5 into just about any civilization fanatic wants it to be! So YOU don't have to come onto our forums and demand your money back for not being satisfied! Because we at Fraxis and 2K Games take pride in our work and want THIS version of the game to be a special in the series.
And for those that shouldn't play games on a computer but go ahead anyways, we have included a "ConsolerHead" executable version of the game with the least amount of options and customizable settings and dumbed down to the point of a stick (so your pretty sensitive head doesn't explode.).
Oh and don't even think about trying to run it on a computer with STEAM installed! because it'll uninstall itself and damage the data on the CD if your try to reinstall it again!
Instead we just got the opposite...
