It is a grave hour, with this terrible Blitzkrieg that has ben set upon us. But our forces will prevail!

In the Atlantic our Royal Navy is master of the seas and has sunk a few U-boats, reducing that menace. Unfortunately Ireland was protecting some wounded U-boats and we were force to officially declare war to be able to make sure those dark wolfes would never surface again.

In Asia, our forces have counter-attacked in Port Moresby and expelled the Japanese forces off the island. However, our proud Navy did suffer a small set back nearby Singapure.

In a public broadcast today, Mussolini has denounced the hypocrisy of Churchill and the English empire, whom he points out has a long history of oppressing native peoples and cultures and absorbing them into the commonwealth. The recent declaration of war on Ireland demonstrates their disregard for the nations under British rule, and he encourages other nations to join him in putting an end to the double standards that the rest of Europe has been expected to swallow for too long.

Italian forces continue to press into Greece, while in the Pacific Hirohito captures another French settlement. Both countries undergo political upheaval as each nation seeks to find a new identity.

The battle for Paris continues with heavy shelling, with a state of waiting ensuing as the matched forces watch each other, the commanding generals waiting to see who will make the first move....

The Axis forces continue to advance and to attack Neutral countries. Poland is gone. Native Sweden is no more. Nations of goodwil, join us against this menace!

In Asia, the migthy Japan continues to advance and the allied forces feel powerless to stop their advance. We can only continue to bravely resist the unjustified invasion and to hope that luck is on our side.

In the Atlantic the Allied Navies continue to seek and destroy U-boats. Despite sinking several of them, the Allied forces only lost 1 Destroyer.

In France, the Panzers continue to advance. However, the French Government has decided on a innovative tactic that has proven very sucessfull! The French special troops have surrounded Munich and are at the gates of Hamburg and Berlin!

The French special forces are composed of several units of song writers, can-can dancers and poets. They all are equiped with a most efective weapon: wine!
The German simple folks have not resisted such an charm attack and have surrender to the elite poets the French Government has sent! In the cities, the Wehrmacht continues to rule still...

In Europe, Italy has captured the city of Marseilles, taking advantage of the French's focus on Paris. The siege continues...

In Northern Europe. and in the Pacific, it would appear that Germany and Japan have taken a break for Christmas.

The few remaining allied forces try to use the Axis Christmas break to reinforce their defenses and wait for the Axis assault.

Italy and Japan continue to reinforce their troops.

The Allied forces are in a difficult situation but will fight for every inch of the way!

Despite the winter, the allied forces are unable to stop the Axis advance.

The only good news in the month was that Ireland has decided to join the Allied side against the giant Axis.

Russia has declared war on Japan, which despite numerous warnings hasn't stopped its aggression towards South East Asia. We warned you now you have to pay the price

Stalin will be Stalin. Churchill gives a exuberating speeching welcoming Russia to the fight against the Axis.

Meanwhile, while the French rich class flee Bordeaux anyway they can, in the Pacific the Royal Navy has sunk 1 Destroyed, a fact that was much celebrated everywhere in the Commonwealth (lacking other reasons to celebrate, minor reasons will have to do)!!!

The Axis continue to expand. The British continue to reinforce defenses wherever possible.

Due to pressure on Japan from Russia, and economic sanctions from China and the US, the other Axis powers have declared war against Stalin, commencing with the capture of Murmansk.

There has been a change on the Amesian Government because of the last elections from November 4, 1940. The opposition, who are not pleased with the Amesian international politics postures, have taken most of the congressional seats. This change under the Amesian Congress will cause a lot of corrective legislations on the Amesian international policy, specially on the neutral status adopted by the Union regardless to this war that only can be compared to 1914's one.
Following I provide you the first legislation made by the Congress dominated by this new representatives elected 1 month ago:


AMESIAN INTERNATIONAL WARFARE POLICY ACT (DEC. 1940)

WE THE PEOPLE of the Amesian Union, recognize the japanese possession and sovereignty over all territories conquered by their forces; under this resolution, we recognize those territories not as occupied ones, but as annexed ones to Japan. We recognize as well the sovereignty and possession of the german territories, and recognize the same authority and ownership over territory (ies) conquered by any power at war as their own annexed land.
This recognition will expand to all territories to be conquered and annexed by any power from 1935, and after December, 1940 when it was expedited.

Meanwhile, regretting the loss of yet another French city in Africa, the British forces reinforce the Middle East against the Axis threat... they have overwhelming numbers but they will not pass!

Due to the threatening ultimatum that Axis has sent to Amesian Union, and its solemnly rejection to their requirements, the war between Axis and Amesia has been declared between the two powers.

Tokyo and Hong Kong has been taken by Amesian Forces.

Germany continues their advance through Middle East with a big army, unstoppable. Their army in the Middle East is so big but soooooo big that they have left their backdoor unprotected... so Great Britain takes the opportunity and re-conquers Paris.

There are celebrations all over Paris.
However, in the euphoria of the party, the Parisien people don't realize that the British soldiers are slowly and silently evacuating the city...
