BOTWAWKI Revised Thread

Population and Slaves

Your population is all your people that you have available to you. Typically the numbers are going to start very small, but will quickly grow throughout the course of the NES. The "civilized" zones such as your faction won't be the only survivors out there, and based on your faction traits and other stats, you'll be receiving a slow flow of immigrants and refugees from more wild territories. This will be included alongside "natural" growth as well.

Blaze Injun

Based on the previous updates, I would say this is correct. No population was ever subtracted for the establishment of the bases except for the losses accrued during the travel. I have fixed the map to reflect this.

Once again, technojock, thanks for the work on the Google Earth map. It makes my life so much easier, I wasn't even aware that sort of thing was possible.

The first population number is your total population.

There's people making marks all over it everywhere (most are stupid Youtube clips though). It's pretty cool.
Yeah Thomas, glad to have tipped you off, it was also one of the reasons I wasn't as worried as I might have been otherwise.
Sure you want to delay the expedition though? We could just rely mainly on my people with yours as force modifiers... hmmm otoh maybe it's good to wait so my people don't have to bleed. : )
Anyway I'm fine with things the way they are, but I used to think the same about population and food/water production because weapons are split. But then actual food/water and the reduction of storages wasn't as I expected so that clued me in. Food/Water storages and the subtracted number of the capitol population might be helpful, but it'd make things more complicated (except for the capitol population, that I think would just add a line without further complications).

To Brunswick Nations
The Narwhal Legion Hereby proclaims it's friendship and non-aggression with the Brunswick Nation, and promises neutrality in the field, and safe refuge and hospitality for any Brunswick Scouts who make it to our various settlments. We hope that the Brunswick Nation will Reciprocate this offer of Friendship

We are happy that the Narwhals are proving to be such good neighbors. We are happy to give any Narwhal refuge should the occasion arrise.

Hey,

Thanks much. :D

What do you mean propulsion laboratory instead?

I had initially marked the propulsion laboratory run by the same company as the one that runs the ballistics laboratory instead of the ballistics laboratory. Thats what I meant.

The Flag of Blood Mesa! Although there are few of them, and none with as much detail as this one, the one above the Central Guard's Barracks in the prison itself, it serves as a good indicator of design.

An example of an equally detailed Standard. These are more common as there is nothing against using them as a cover in the desert, and the wider folds of these are more usefull than that of the Flag for simple shade.

As are mine.

So, I have a few Ideas for stories: what would people like to read about?
  • A gun running mission
  • A Scavenging Operation in the ruins of NY city
  • Schooling
  • Garrison duty in Fort Dix or Perth Amboy
  • Developing food production

Already working on one... I need an opinion. I have a few Ideas, do you think basing it on the US navy's flag is a good idea?

I would guess that since you have Navy background, it would make sense even if you just reproduce the flag as your own :p

Make one of killing puny little raiders.
